As entrepreneurs, we tend to do (and feel) best when we know we have a plan. A sign of a great plan is that it provides both structure AND freedom. Furthermore, a plan of our making gives us the confidence to not only move forward right now, but it provides the foundation we need to adapt when (not if) change arrives.
The irony about planning is that the plan itself is not the hard part. It's getting to the table to create the plan that proves tough for our human wiring. However, it's a table we must sit down at time and time again to feed what's next in our businesses.
